Niger, Kogi Customs Command ReAssures Readiness To End Smuggling

Controller Niger, Kogi Customs Command,Busaya Kadejo, has reiterate the commands preparedness to frustrate and make the border unbearable and inaccessible to smugglers activities in the border area of Niger Kogi command.
Kadejo,stated this during a press briefing with journalist at the Zonal office in Minna.

She said Niger Kogi commands are the largest hinter land in Nigeria Custom Service with it’s main function of Anti Smuggling, Trade Facilitation and carrying out Federal Government Fiscal Policy directives.

The Controller, who took over the Commend two months ago said they have make massive
deployment of personnel to the border which has enable them to seized items ranging from cars, second hand clothing PMS, and foreign rice with total duty value at two hundred and thirty eight million four hundred and sixteen naira.

She urges the general public to desist from Smuggling because it’s personnel are well prepared to reduce smuggling to the bearest minimum.
